Job Title: Collibra DQ Lead (Remote)
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Collibra DQ Lead with expertise in Collibra Data Quality Center to support and lead data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Data Quality Engineer or Data Quality Analyst with a strong background in configuring implementing and maintaining data quality workflows and processes. This role will involve collaboration across business IT and data governance teams to ensure high data quality standards and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Configure implement and maintain Collibra Data Quality Center to support enterprisewide data quality initiatives.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with business IT and data governance teams to understand and align with data quality requirements and standards.
- Monitor and report on data quality trends and issues offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute data quality jobs including regular expressions (regex) to ensure data is fit for operational and business use.
- Design and implement data quality workflows scorecards and dashboards in Collibra.
- Provide technical expertise and support to business users and IT teams on Collibra Data Quality functionalities.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to implement data quality solutions within data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Participate in data quality improvement projects identifying root causes of data issues and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Quality Engineer or Data Quality Analyst with specific expertise in Collibra Data Quality Center (Owl DQ) or similar tools like Informatica InfoAnalyzer or Ataccama.
- Indepth knowledge of data quality concepts methodologies and best practices.
- Handson experience in implementing and configuring Collibra Data Quality including developing data quality rules scorecards and workflows.
- Proficiency in data profiling tools and data quality assessment techniques.
- Experience in configuring and connecting to various data sources such as Google Cloud Platform SQL Server SAP etc.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and data stewardship processes.
- Strong SQL/Spark SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- A selfstarter with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Collibra Data Governance implementation.
- Background in working with large datasets and enterpriselevel data environments.
- Familiarity with cloudbased data platforms and big data technologies.
