Position: Regional Service Manager
Our client a leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Regional Service Manager to join their team. Here are the key details regarding the position:
Location: Flexible within Tokyo Chiba Osaka and Kitakyushu with approximately 2 days of home office work per week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Workshop Management: Oversee and plan daily operations leading and motivating workshop and service staff.
- Customer Relations: Develop and manage customer relationships to ensure needs are met and services are adapted for the future.
- Service Solutions Sales: Drive sales of service solutions by developing and communicating service portfolios according to customer needs.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor workshop budgets and operational targets implementing measures to achieve set goals.
Qualifications:
- Deep experience in the automotive industry or strong knowledge of business management
- Management experience (official title not required)
- Open mindset for change and improvement
- High school education; relevant dealership experience is a plus
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Native Japanese speaker with fluent English
- Valid drivers license for regular passenger vehicles
- Intermediate PC skills (e.g. VLOOKUP Pivot)
- Preferred: Heavy vehicle license technical experience safety and health manager certificate
