Position: Cook
Start Date: 11/5/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8
Shift Notes: Variable Days 4:30a1:00p;5a1:30p;6a2:30p;7:30a4:00p;10:30a7:00p;11:00a7:30p; 12pm8:30pm. Candidate must be available for any/all shifts as needed. 40hr gt
Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend/Holidays required if needed
OnCall Requirements: No Call

Under the direct supervision of the Chef/Patient service manager prepares seasons and cooks food for the hospital patients employees and visitors.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people
- Must have very good interpersonal skills
- Ability to read write and follow oral written instruction
- Must have the ability to move quickly from one task to another as the needs of the department change
- Must be well organized and able to multitask
- 24 years of fulltime cooking experience required
- A high school diploma required
- Graduate of a formal technical school specializing in a hotel or institutional cooking STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Medical terminology course completion preferred
