Job Description
Under general supervision the Cardiac Sonographer will perform analyze and interpret comprehensive complex diagnostic cardiacultrasound procedures such as Transthoracic Echo Treadmill and Dobutamine Stress Echo and assist physicians withTransesophageal Echo (TEE) procedures on patients referred for evaluation of suspected or known heart disease postoperativeevaluation of surgical therapy or placement of cardiac prosthetic devices. The Cardiac Sonographer will tailor examination asnecessary to provide accurate representation of cardiac anatomy and pathology throughout examination; monitor patient s vitalsigns and condition during examination; measure cardiac structures and blood fl ow throughout the heart; and completepreliminary report for the reading cardiologist.
Shift: Days 10 hour shifts
