Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Night Sonographer you will perform highquality diagnostic ultrasound examinations working closely with the medical team to deliver timely accurate imaging results. Your role is vital in assisting with patient diagnoses and treatment decisions especially during critical night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging for abdominal and OB/GYN areas
- Ensure high standards of patient care and comfort
- Work effectively in a fastpaced environment often in highpressure situations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and report ultrasound findings
MustHaves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a certified CAAHEPaccredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Radiologic Technology or a twoyear allied health program
- ARDMS registration with an ABD or OB/GYN credential
- Minimum of two years of paid scanning experience
NicetoHaves:
- Experience in a Level I trauma center
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
