About the Client:
Our client is a warm and welcoming family with two young children3 years old and 8 months old. They are looking for a caring experienced and dedicated nanny to join their household. Their primary language is English and both of their children speak English. This is a fulltime livein role where you will become a valued part of their family helping them create a nurturing and structured environment for their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide loving and attentive care including daily routines such as feeding bathing dressing and supervising nap times.
- Educational Activities: Engage the children in educational games arts and crafts outdoor play reading and other activities that promote their development.
- Light Housekeeping: Help with light cleaning tidying up the play areas and managing occasional laundry. A parttime housekeeper handles deep cleaning and laundry.
- Groceries & Meal Prep: Maintain a grocery list and manage weekly shopping. Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children and family.
- Transportation: Assist with school dropoffs/pickups and other outings as needed.
- Routine Management: Follow and maintain the familys daily schedule including meal times nap times and bedtime routines.
- Occasional Evening Care: Provide supervision during evening hours when parents are out.
Daily Schedule Example:
- 7:00 AM: Take care of 8months baby (change feed).
- 8:00 AM: Family breakfast and cleanup.
- 8:30 AM 12:30 PM: Engage with baby manage household tasks grocery shopping and meal prep.
- 12:30 PM: Pick up 3 years old child from school.
- 1:30 PM: Nap time for both children.
- 3:30 PM 6:00 PM: Afternoon activities like playtime educational games or playground visits.
- 6:00 PM: Bath time for both kids followed by dinner and bedtime routines.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nanny experience or being a mother of children over 10 years old. References required.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Skills: Loving patient and highly organized with a natural ability to engage with children through creative and educational activities.
- Background: Willing to undergo a background check.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evening or night shifts.
