DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Information Technology Services (ITS) oversees the technology architecture supporting the Districts instructional mission and is committed to modernizing the Districts technology needs. ITS as part of its application modernization efforts is replacing many of the applications that have reached its endoflife cycle and is seeking an experience Project Manager to lead manage and coordinate the implementation efforts with the various stakeholders. The Project Manager may lead multiple implementations projects and the responsibilities are not limited to the following:
- Meet with project sponsors and stakeholders to determine and document project scope.
- Prepare Scope of Work for software replacement/upgrades.
- Represent the District in Source Selection committees.
- Manage project software/development implementations.
- Lead blueprint sessions with relevant stakeholders to identify and document detailed requirements.
- Develop project plan including project schedules and project costs.
- Prepare Project Charters Risk Assessments and present at various committees.
- Prepare project budget estimates.
- Provide project updates to ITS PMO on QuickBase and as required by ITS PMO.
- Manage project document collection repositories like SharePoint MS Teams and other project management applications.
- Coach and mentor district staff in project management practices.
- Create and manage work orders for enhancements bug fixes incident change requests etc.
- Identify and coordinate resources required to implement project plans.
- Work with developers to ensure applications are developed as planned.
- Ensure process and procedures meet ITS security protocols.
- Coordinate and review testing training change management and rollout for new portals or applications.
- Manage vendors implementing/developing various outsourced projects.
- Provide timely project updates to project sponsors and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide other services as needed related to cyberattack response or resulting organizational change management.
DELIVERABLES
- Collect functional business requirements using interviews document analysis business process descriptions use cases task and workflow analysis.
- Create and manage work orders for enhancements bug fixes incident change requests budget allocations.
- Create presentations for various stakeholders.
- Create Project Plans.
- Provide and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage SharePoint MS Teams or other project management sites for project timelines tasks communication and document collection.
- Project charter(s) including the definition of completion criteria.
WORK SCHEDULE
The resource shall be available to begin work upon full execution of the agreement. Standard work hours will be Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon. The actual schedule may be adjusted based on project needs by the sponsor.
