Job Description

As the ESL Teacher you will thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment providing tailored instruction to English Language Learners (ELL) that meets state and school standards. Your role will be to foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere while achieving strong outcomes in a dynamic resultsdriven setting.
Position Summary:
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate English language development across all subject areas.
- Provide individualized and small group lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of ELL students.
- Create an inclusive welcoming and safe classroom environment that fosters student growth.
- Establish clear expectations for behavior to promote a productive and secure learning environment.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure continuous development.
- Craft lessons for ELL students aligned with both school and state standards.
Requirements
A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is required (A Master s degree in TESOL or a related field is highly preferred.)Prior experience as an ESL Teacher or in a related teaching role. Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement. Previous experience working with students from diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
