Performance Tester

Summary: A Performance Tester is needed for the IT Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement Capital Product Delivery team supporting system capital initiatives. The role focuses on performance testing for IT solutions collaborating with crossfunctional teams and enhancing system performance. The candidate must have strong communication skills and experience in tools like Grafana and JMeter as well as knowledge of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute performance testing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and create performance test scenarios defining load levels and test scripts.
• Set up and configure testing environments to simulate production conditions.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize performance and communicate results.
• Conduct tests using tools like JMeter LoadRunner and Grafana.
• Provide recommendations for performance optimization based on analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and document performance testing processes.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Grafana and Apache JMeter.
• Experience with Agile methodology performance test plans and script creation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps AppInsights and automated web tests.
• Knowledge of API testing and Azure pipelines.
• Ability to work in an Agile project environment.
• Nice to have: Experience writing detailed test cases from business requirements.
