Job Description
Title: Software Tester
Location: West Hills CA/Remote
Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension)
Key Skills:
- Proficient in designing executing and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Develop detailed test plans test cases based on the existing application with minimal specifications.
- Execute manual test cases including functional regression integration and exploratory testing.
- Identify record and track defects in a defect tracking system.
- Ability to perform database verification using SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in backend databases.
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and workflows to identify potential testing scenarios and coverage gaps.
- Experience with Laboratory Management System (LMS) applications is a plus.
Must Have Skills
- Skill 1 7 Yrs of Exp Senior Manual Tester
- Skill 2 7 Yrs of Exp Testing tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Skill 3 7 Yrs of Exp Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Skill 4 7 Yrs of Exp Execute manual test cases including functional regression integration and exploratory testing.
- Skill 5 7Yrs of Exp Proficient in designing executing and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Skill 6 7Yrs of Exp Develop detailed test plans test cases based on the existing application with minimal specifications.
- Skill 7 7 Yrs of Exp Identify record and track defects in a defect tracking system.
