Position: Drupal Platform Technical Lead

Location: Windsor Mill MD (Hybrid 2 days/week)

Duration: Contract

Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Technical Lead to architect design develop and implement nextgeneration web applications using cuttingedge technologies and software engineering best practices. In this role you will be responsible for leading Drupal platform development and providing expertise across multiple areas including PHP application integration serviceoriented architectures security business process management module integration and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Drupal Platform Technical Lead.
• Architect and develop CMS solutions using Drupal and WordPress.
• Lead custom API development within Drupal.
• Provide software expertise in Drupal PHP SOA module integration and security.
• Act as a Drupal Platform Administrator when required.
• Seniorlevel development and maintenance of multiple enterprise websites using Drupal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects across the frontend business logic middleware or database.
• Communicate effectively with management customers and teams through written or verbal reports.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned or directed.

Detailed Skills Requirements

Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
• 10 years of combined experience in modern software development using Drupal and PHP.
• 10 years of combined experience in web development and responsive UI building with frontend technologies.
• 10 years of combined experience with CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress.

Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills):

• Expertise in modern PHP frameworks like Drupal Laravel Symfony or Zend.
• Proficiency in Drupal Platform Leadership.
• Understanding of PHPs type system concurrent programming and DevOps tools (Git Jenkins SonarQube).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL DB2 Oracle) SQL and ORM technologies.
• Strong experience in unit testing and automated testing methodologies (TDD BDD PHPUnit Selenium).
• Knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React or Angular along with HTML JavaScript TypeScript jQuery and CSS.
• Familiarity with API development & monitoring tools (Ready API Swagger Splunk Dynatrace).
• Experience working within Agile environments.

How to Stand Out from the Crowd (Desired Skills):

• AWS Cloud experience or certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with PaaS platforms (Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes) and Docker containers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and DevOps processes.
• Experience with advanced search capabilities such as AWS Kendra.
• Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.

Education

• Bachelors Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
