Job Description

Job Title: Business Integration Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Remote and Onsite at Maryland Judiciary Information Systems Annapolis MD)


Job Summary

Mfinite Consulting seeks an experienced Integrations Business Analyst to gather and document application and system requirements develop test plans and provide testing and problemresolution support for various projects. The role also includes refining existing systems development life cycle methodologies and Project Management Office (PMO) standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document existing systems and business processes.
  • Interview users to gather functional requirements for new development and enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with Judiciary personnel to develop and coordinate test plans.
  • Work with technical leads and developers to refine project technical requirements.
  • Assist in the development of system development methodologies and project artifacts.
  • Track and report project status supporting PMO efforts as needed.
  • Provide input for Project Definition documents establishing scope cost estimates and return on investment.
  • Perform data analysis and develop database inquiries as required.
  • Coordinate business analysis project requirements test planning and tracking throughout projects.
  • Assist IT/Court managers with requirements gathering and test planning.
  • Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and coordinate business unit reviews of project requirements and test plans.
  • Act as a liaison with justice partners for accurate data exchanges required by legislation or business mandates.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
  • Masters degree in Information Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal or courtrelated background.
  • 10 years of experience in Information Technology.

Required Skills

  • Experience in UML NIEM/JIEM data modeling XML and SOAP protocols.
  • Familiarity with requirements capture software and integration patterns web services and APIs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and manage relationships with peers end users vendors and management.
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle principles and methodologies.

Work Schedule and Place of Performance

  • Work is hybrid with three days remote and two days onsite each week at the Clients site 189 Harry S. Truman Parkway Annapolis MD.
  • The resource must be able to report onsite within 24 hours if required.

Additional Information

  • Flexibility to extend coverage hours as needed including evenings weekends and holidays.
  • Initial two to four weeks of training will be provided.
  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo a multipart interview process primarily conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • US citizenship is required.
