Job Description

Technical Writer II
(RemoteSan Jose CA preferred. Must support PST/CST)
Description
As a Technical Writer you will collaborate closely with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to create clear concise and comprehensive integration guides. Your work will ensure that our clients can seamlessly integrate our technology into their environments. You should have a technical background with the ability to read and write basic sample code as well as the capability to create detailed flowcharts and other visual aids to complement your documentation. Past Solution Engineers Technical PMs with good writing skills welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer particularly in creating technical documentation for software products.
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to read and write basic code in languages such as Python JavaScript or similar.
  • Experience with API documentation and understanding of RESTful services.
  • Proficiency in creating flowcharts and diagrams using tools like Lucidchart Visio or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and documentation tools (e.g. Markdown Confluence etc.).
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to understand product features integration points and customer use cases.
  • Write edit and maintain highquality integration guides API documentation and technical notes.
  • Develop sample code snippets and examples to illustrate integration processes.
  • Create flowcharts diagrams and other visual aids to support and clarify written documentation.
  • Ensure all technical content is accurate clear and userfriendly.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to gather feedback on documentation and iterate on improvements.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in payments experience in creating clear guides and howto documents
  • 24 years years of Experience
Pay Rate: $39/hr (Depending on the skills and experience) under a W2 contract.
