General Purpose of the Job:
The Senior Manager of Learning Technology is responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational performance of our enterprise learning technologies. This role focuses on the development enhancement and management of our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and Learning Management System (LMS). The Senior Manager will collaborate with technical operational and learning teams to shape the learning technology roadmap ensuring scalable efficient learning experiences that align with business needs. Additionally this role oversees team performance vendor relationships and continuous innovation to optimize learning technology efficiency and user satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and Execute Learning Technology Strategy:
Collaborate with IT to prioritize and manage the enterprise learning technologies roadmap processes governance and requests for new additions to the learning technology ecosystem.
Manage daytoday functionality and performance of the LXP and LMS including developing and implementing standardized processes and procedures.
Plan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and launch system enhancements and upgrades.
Provide Level3 support for escalated learning technology issues.
Lead the performance and development of team members and manage relationships with vendors.
Education and Experience:
Required:
46 years of experience in Learning Technology.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
4 years of experience leading technologyrelated teams.
4 years of experience administering technology systems and platforms for a mediumsized company.
Preferred:
Masters Degree in a related field (e.g. technology management adult learning).
4 years of experience with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Proficiency in API and basic web programming (HTML JS CSS).
Certified Expert in Cornerstone OnDemand.
NonNegotiable Requirements:
Deep understanding of Cornerstone LMS systems.
Proven leadership/management experience with a focus on team growth and development.
Strategic thinking mindset.

Strong communication skills.
Ability to enhance team performance.
Experience as a tactical program manager.
