Job Description
Test Analyst with NV1 clearance CANBERRA 12 months 2 X 12 months
Essential Criteria:
- ISTQB Foundation or higher certification.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience providing quality assurance within software delivery projects following a mature system delivery lifecycle methodology.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and experience working on projects using Agile practices.
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps for test planning execution and defect management.
- Proven experience in testing software applications particularly web applications.
- Ability to leverage appropriate resources and methods to deliver QA functions in a costeffective manner.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders across business areas project teams and other divisions maintaining productive and effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail with the capability to update maintain and articulate testing artifacts clearly.
- Highly organized and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of Waterfall methodology and experience with projects following a Waterfall approach.
- Experience in testing security roles/permissions for different personas and an understanding of rolebased access controls.
- Testing experience in:
- Commercial OfftheShelf (COTS) products as well as customized software applications.
- REST/SOAP web services.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Cloudbased vs Onpremises systems.
- Infrastructure systems.
- Experience in implementing automated testing.
- Demonstrated capability to undertake quality management and testing assurance activities including preparation and review of test strategies plans and reports.
- Experience in managing change and release governance processes.
- Ability to manage and support participants and their representatives in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT).
