Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Paris Texas in search of a highly talented MTMicrobiology Lead.
Job Summary:
The MTMicrobiology Lead is responsible for the daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory including staff performing testing and reporting test results. This role maintains policies procedures and quality control practices performs highcomplexity testing and interacts professionally with the Director of Clinical Laboratory Pathologist and clinical laboratory personnel.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory
- Perform and supervise highcomplexity testing
- Maintain laboratory policies procedures and quality control practices
- Interact professionally with Director of Clinical Laboratory Pathologist and laboratory personnel
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
I. Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology Chemistry Biology Microbiology or Physical Sciences
II. Experience:
- Five years experience as a Medical Technologist
- Five years experience as a Microbiology Technologist
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification
- National MT Certification
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in clinical laboratory operations and highcomplexity testing
- Strong knowledge of laboratory policies procedures and quality control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow laboratory protocols
- Leadership and supervisory skills
