Head of Quality Control QC

BioLamina is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Control to lead our QC team. BioLamina is a rapidly expanding biotech business that specializes in producing and supplying fulllength human recombinant laminin proteins that are crucial to the advancement of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily QC operations ensuring compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and all relevant regulations.
• Develop qualify and validate QC methods and equipment driving continuous improvement in QC processes and support production in processes controls.
• Collaborate across teams and functions working independently and in group settings to ensure the highest product quality.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with PhEur or similar contributing to the creation and maintenance of QC policies.
• Coach and guide the QC team to foster strong teamwork and personal development.
• Participate in crossfunctional projects contributing to the overall company growth and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• A Master of Science or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control role preferably within biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Experience with GMP or similar and regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership experience with staff responsibilities and team development.
• Strong background in qualifying equipment validating methods and ensuring adherence to quality processes.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken. Swedish language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in working within a growing organization and adapting quickly to changes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in helping to build a company including establishing methods procedures and processes.
• Broad understanding of QC within a biotech environment.
