We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software QA Engineer to join our team in Malm Sweden. This hybrid role involves ensuring the delivery of highquality software products through rigorous testing and collaborative problemsolving. As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in identifying issues improving processes and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute manual and automated test plans and cases.
- Identify document and track software defects using industrystandard tools.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Conduct regression performance usability and functional testing for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using tools like Selenium Cypress or similar frameworks.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to development teams ensuring swift resolution of issues.
- Monitor software quality metrics and provide reports on product quality trends.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies contributing to sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing for web applications.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium Appium Cypress or similar.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java Python or JavaScript) for test script development.
- Understanding of API testing tools (e.g. Postman RestAssured).
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
NicetoHave Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Familiarity with cloudbased platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
- Experience in hybrid work environments or distributed teams.
