Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership manage application architecture models and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver optimized secure and costeffective cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and deployment of complex AWS cloud solutions ensuring they align with business needs and IT strategies.
- Develop and manage application architecture models ensuring that designs meet both application requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams ensuring highquality delivery of cloud solutions.
- Analyze and optimize applications for performance scalability and costeffectiveness implementing best practices to reduce latency and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate these into measurable cloud solutions.
- Ensure all AWS solutions adhere to cloud security best practices industry standards and governance protocols.
- Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for costefficiency while maintaining high performance and availability.
- Stay updated on the latest AWS services applying this knowledge to improve or develop new cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to effectively communicate designs to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams system administrators and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues providing expertlevel troubleshooting and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
- 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in cloud architecture and 3 years focused on AWS.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional required; additional AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 Lambda RDS VPC CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and tools (e.g. IAM KMS Security Groups).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab or AWS CodePipeline.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. VPNs Direct Connect VPC peering).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in application optimization including performance tuning resource allocation and scaling.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus).
- Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior team members.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
- Experience in multicloud environments (Azure GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture microservices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Contact Center Technologies is preferred.
