Job Description

Reputable firm looking to add a talented Lead Civil/Coastal Engineer to their Sarasota office!



Responsibilities:
  • Lead group in project oversight (setting priorities developing objectives project financial management)
  • Serve as a technical resource for team
  • Responsible for project engineering and management
  • Complete design calculations for coastal engineering projects including drainage/flood control geotechnical/foundation designs seawall designs sea grass beach nourishment coastal storm impact analyses and coastal structures
  • Prepare client presentations and manage/develop client relationships
  • Prepare contracts and technical documents
  • Conduct inspections and observations


Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master s degree preferred
  • 8 years of experience
  • Project management experience
  • PE license
  • Coastal engineering technical skills in coastal and hydraulic processes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with business/project/proposal development


Salary is commensurate with experience.
