Job Description

Mechanical Drafter
Location:Pryor Oklahoma
Pay:$18 $21/hr
Hours:Day Shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM
Job Type:Temp to Hire

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting technical specifications blueprints and design documents transforming rough product sketches into detailed working models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret technical specifications blueprints and design documents.
  • Transform rough product sketches into detailed working models and drawings.
  • Utilize CAD software to create and modify 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Develop comprehensive construction and assembly drawings including dimensions tolerances and materials.
  • Maintain organized and accurate relationships between models and drawing files.
  • Create and verify assembly layouts and part drawings for legacy programs.
  • Process Engineering Change Requests efficiently and ensure timely updates.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to develop design solutions.
  • Keep detailed and uptodate records of all design work.
  • Ensure all drawings and plans comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • An associate degree in Mechanical Drafting or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
  • Experience using MS Office and ability to quickly learn internal businessrelated software.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methods procedures and automation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of product design mechanical engineering principles and tool design.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications with excellent math skills.
  • CAD certification plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience using Faro is a plus.
