Job Description
Mechanical Assembler
- Pay:$1619/hr
- Hours:Monday Friday 6AM 2:30PM
- Job Type:TemptoHire
- Location:Pryor Oklahoma
Position Overview:We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role youll be responsible for preparing work by reviewing assembly instructions blueprints specifications and parts lists gathering all required parts subassemblies tools and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal components subassemblies products or systems by following work orders production drawings or verbal instructions
- Work with large or heavy subassemblies and complete units interpreting blueprints and drawings as needed
- Test and calibrate parts to meet product specifications and tolerances
- Use hand tools power tools welders and machines to achieve dimensional accuracy
- Perform online testing and inspection with measuring instruments to ensure components meet production standards
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support production
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Training certificates in blueprint reading and welding preferred
- Proficiency in basic math (addition subtraction multiplication division) with whole numbers fractions and decimals
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently with occasional lifting of more than 50 lbs
