This is a remote position.
As a Product Researcher your primary role is to identify and track emerging and trending products across various social media platforms (Instagram TikTok Pinterest) and websites. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing 10 new products weekly collecting competitor data for ad testing and monitoring key metrics such as price demand and competition. You will stay informed about ecommerce trends and deliver regular reports and insights to crossfunctional teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
Core Tasks:
Research and identify new trending products across various social media platforms (Instagram TikTok Pinterest etc.) and websites
Produce research on 10 new products weekly
Collate and organize relevant competitor videos for ad testing
Collect/ analyze key product data like price demand trendiness & potential competition
Monitor ecommerce trends and emerging product categories
Provide regular updates and recommendations based on ongoing research
Compile and organize product and research insights into detailed reports
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align product research with business goals
Must Haves:
3 years experience in product research preferably in ecommerce or digital marketing
Analytical skills and ability to interpret data on trends pricing and market competition
Proficiency in using social media and online tools to identify and track trending products
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Bais intermedia Google Sheets and Docs for data gathering and report writing
Ability to communicate research findings clearly and concisely in written reports
Ability to work EST
Nice to Haves:
Experience working with D2C ecommerce brands
Familiarity with tools like Google Trends Jungle Scout or similar research platforms
Knowledge of ecommerce platforms like Shopify and Amazon
A strong interest in emerging consumer trends and digital marketing strategies
