This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across different levels of the organization. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and understand business processes. Create detailed requirements specifications, including use cases, process flows, and data models. Business Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop business cases to justify proposed solutions and measure their impact. Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements. Ensure that solutions align with the overall business strategy and architecture. Testing and Implementation: Support the development and execution of test plans. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely implementation of solutions. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions. Monitor performance and identify areas for optimization. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 5-9 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on the insurance domain. In-depth understanding of the insurance lifecycle, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, and risk management. Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN). Preferred: LOMA (Life Office Management Association) certification or equivalent. Experience with insurance industry software applications. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
