ConsultantSpecialist Rehabilitation Physician

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Consultant/Specialist Rehabilitation Physician to join a service that provides tertiary level care.

Total Salary Package: $305,300 to $404,970 (pro rata for part time) - Package inclusive of Private Practice Scheme Allowance On-call allowance Medical Education Expense Allowance Superannuation (11.5%)

3-hour drive to Sydney
Level 6 tertiary referral
3700 births - a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a regional role and over 200 level 3 admissions each year.
45-minute drive to the Ski SLOPES
Modern 600 bed tertiary trauma and referral hospital

At full capacity 140 inpatient beds, 75-day places and additional ambulatory clinics and services. This will allow some patients to be discharged earlier and still receive the rehabilitation therapy they require.

The Hospital is the principal tertiary referral and teaching hospital for a population of 420,000, and the surrounding Region (population 230,000). This is a modern hospital of approximately 670 beds and provides most major medical and surgical sub-specialty services.

The Location:
Very "outdoor" and "environmentally" focused and truly unique in that you have this CBD with excellent work opportunities literally set amongst stunning bush land that is always only a 5 min walk away from anywhere. If you love bushwalking, cycling, exploring, being active etc then it's a win win.

Skills & Qualifications Required:
Be registered or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Specialist.
