Job Description
Key Qualifications And Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Testing course is a plus
Experience
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
- Experience in QA methodology and tools.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest Zephyr) and SQL.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Additional Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Execution
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Collaborate with the development team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Quality Assurance
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct postrelease/postimplementation testing.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills.
- Provide feedback to developers about automated testing strategies design fixes and patches.
