Job Description
Senior QA Data Engineer
- Extensive experience in manual testing particularly in datacentric environments.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation querying and testing of database functionalities.
- Experience in data engineering concepts including ETL processes data pipelines and data warehousing.
- Experience in GeoSpatial data.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices for both software and data testing.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit) for data pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner) for evaluating data systems.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools and platforms (e.g. Apache Kafka Apache Spark Hadoop).
- Understanding of cloudbased data solutions (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their testing methodologies.
