Our client is the largest home builder in the United States specializing in residential and multifamily homes. They are expanding their operations to include a new townhome division focusing on developing quality living spaces for their clients.
Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Manager for our clients new townhome division. This role involves a handson approach to managing construction projects ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while overseeing a team of 26 employees onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding projects from dirt to commissioning requiring close collaboration with superintendents and a proactive approach to solving onsite challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities at multiple townhome sites within Pierce County.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
- Directly manage onsite employees and oversee the construction process.
- Actively participate in the labor process to make necessary corrections and ensure quality work.
- Bring projects from initial site preparation through to final commissioning.
- Handle approximately 5080 units at any given time with a structured onboarding and training process.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in townhome development particularly in a superintendent role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Handson approach to construction management with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently on job sites ensuring efficient operations.
