Job Description
Looking for a lead architect with IBM Cloud Infrastructure expertise in VMware. Prefer experience with networking in VMware environments (NSX Transit Gateway Juniper Firewalls).
Must have expertise in creating documentation and runbooks.
The role is to provide architectural leadership and documentation for the conclusion of the Build Phase and Migration phase of the project.
This role will collaborate with the IBM build team including network architect and project management.
This project is to upgrade a client environment from NSXV to NSXT.
The project includes architectural design building and migration. Currently the Build Phase is almost complete.
Key tasks in the project which are upcoming:
Migrate test VM test connectivity and establish BGP
Update Runbook for migration and cutover; review with client & IBM team
Complete migration in November
Handover to the managed services team
