Job Title: Integrations Business Analyst
Location: Annapolis MD (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Document existing systems and business processes.
- Interview users to gather functional requirements for new development and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with Judiciary personnel to develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts.
- Work closely with technical leads and developers to understand develop and refine project technical requirements.
- Assist in developing and refining systems development methodology processes and artifacts as needed.
- Track and report project status in support of project management efforts.
- Contribute to the development of Project Definition documents to establish initial project scope cost resource estimates impact on existing activities and estimated return on investment.
- Perform data analysis and develop database queries as required.
- Coordinate business analysis project requirements test planning tracking and problem reporting throughout JIS projects.
- Assist JIS project managers and IT/Court managers in coordinating requirements gathering and test planning activities.
- Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and coordinate business unit review and approval of project functional requirements and test plans.
- Complete weekly time reporting focused on total time and segments of time allocated to tasks or projects using templates and/or time tracking software.
- Act as a liaison with justice partners to ensure accurate data exchanges and compliance with legislative or business mandates.
Mandatory Skills Experience & Capabilities:
- Experience with UML and other tools used to capture and document user and functional requirements.
- Familiarity with NIEM / JIEM data modeling.
- Proficiency in requirements capture and tracking software.
- Knowledge of XML and SOAP protocol software.
- Experience discussing analyzing and documenting highlevel business requirements related to internal and external clients.
- Understanding of integration patterns web services and APIs.
- Experience with the Odyssey Case Management System.
- Communicate effectively and establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers end users vendor development staff and all levels of management and judicial personnel.
- Work effectively within a diverse IT organization.
- Provide training and demonstrations on integration software.
- Systems development life cycle principles and methodologies.
- Database knowledge including logical and relational databases.
Qualifications:
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Masters degree in information systems.
