You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs Laundry Team Leader you will be required to maintain the same high degree of service and efficiency in the absence of the Laundry Manager. You will oversee Guest Laundry/Dry Cleaning, Laundry Shop and Administration. Further you will maintain a regular quality control inspection of department standards also regularly inspect machinery for signs of wear & tear, deterioration of hoses, belts, covers etc. Any defect or maintenance request should be logged via data base for action by the Engineering Department.
Qualifications
At least 2years in laundry operations or housekeeping

Supervision of Staff
Lead and supervise the laundry team, providing training and guidance on best practices.
Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
Quality Control
Monitor the quality of laundry processes and ensure all items meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
Conduct regular inspections of laundry equipment and processed items.
Inventory Management
Manage inventory levels of laundry supplies, including detergents and cleaning agents, and order supplies as needed.
Maintain records of laundry activities, including the volume of items processed.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement best practices for laundering, folding, and storing items.
Health and Safety Compliance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all laundry operations.
Train staff on proper handling of chemicals and safe operation of equipment.
Guest Interaction
Address any guest inquiries or concerns related to laundry services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications
High School Diploma: Required; additional training in laundry management or hospitality is preferred.
Experience
Previous Experience: 2-4 years in laundry operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
