Our client the specializes in designing and installing structures for the oil and gas industry particularly for offshore drilling platforms.

Position: Technical Assistant Structural.

Salary: Negotiable (THB.)

Employment Status: Contract 1 Year.

Location: Leam Chabang Chonburi.

Working: Mon Fri 07:30 17:00 and Sat 07:30 12:00 am.

Bus provided: Sukumvit main road from Chalermthai Chonburi and Banchang Rayong.

Benefit: Over Time Group Health Insurance Annual Leave 6 Days per year.

Starting Date: ASAP.

Job Summary:
The Technical Assistant Structural is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the Structural Engineering team in the design development and analysis of onshore jacket structures. This role will involve working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the structural integrity and compliance of the jacket structures with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of structural calculations and analyses including load calculations member sizing and stability checks.
• Review and verify engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as reports memos and presentations.
• Conduct research and gather technical data as needed.
• Support the engineering team in the development of design concepts and alternatives.
• Assist in the coordination of technical reviews and approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for the fabrication and construction of jacket structures.
• Stay updated on industry trends codes and standards related to structural engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering preferably in the offshore or onshore construction industry.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design methods.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software STAAD.Pro SAP2000 ABAQUS.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
