Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the country area management team to integrate finance considerations into local decisionmaking.
- Serve as a key finance partner to business leaders offering support through detailed analysis and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of management accounting and operational reporting within the group s framework.
- Prepare and analyze profitability reports for customers projects products and agreements.
- Provide management with information and recommendations on financial transactions operational costs inventories sales orders taxes depreciation property and other asset values.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and forecasts and develop statements of recommendations for future financial plans internal controls policies and objectives.
- Evaluate and implement approved programs aimed at cost reduction improved controls work simplification and optimal equipment utilization.
- Identify process improvement opportunities by recognizing implications and relationships among problems and issues.
- Ensure compliance with the Group s financial legal and IT policies instructions and guidelines across all levels of the company.
- Conduct local audits of service locations and report findings and recommendations to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in preparatory accounting financial analysis or Controller roles preferably within a service environment.
- Experience with SAP Siebel or other large ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Expected travel is 1015%.
