Job Description

Location: Mansfield MA

Salary: Ranging from 120000USD to 140000 annual

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Production System at the plant ensuring consistency and sustainability across departments.
  • Direct and facilitate continuous improvement (CI) activities using lean tools like Kaizen GEMBA 5S and problemsolving to improve Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
  • Establish and oversee the KPO and CI Council.
  • Implement corrective actions based on production data to improve safety quality and productivity.
  • Lead key projects related to material flow site layout and new product launches.
  • Support capital procurement projects and coordinate with operations engineering finance and purchasing teams.
  • Serve as the primary Continuous Improvement leader coaching other sites as needed.
  • Train employees in tools and methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Finance on capital planning asset management and budget alignment with CI initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with SQF and ISO standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of manufacturing experience.
  • At least 5 years in Continuous Improvement (CI) leadership with strong Toyota Production System (TPS) knowledge.
  • Led at least 20 Kaizen events.
  • Extensive experience in Daily Management processes or structured daily meetings (Tiers 14).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Principles (e.g. Value Stream Mapping JustinTime 5S).
  • Preferred experience with DMAIC tools (e.g. FMEA MSA Minitab).
  • Experience in packaging food or pharmaceutical industries required.
  • Available for emergency response outside regular hours including weekends.
