Job Description

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Missoula Montana in search of a highly talented Director of OP Cancer Center.

Job Summary:

The Director of OP Cancer Center is responsible for the clinical direction quality outcomes and financial health of the oncology service line at a 150bed community hospital. This leadership role oversees daily operations including staffing recruiting and physician management for the outpatient cancer center.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all clinical and operational aspects of the outpatient cancer center
  • Ensure highquality patient care and outcomes through implementing best practices and continuous quality improvement
  • Manage staffing recruiting performance management and development of cancer center team
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery
  • Oversee financial performance and budgeting for the service line
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Lead process improvement and change management initiatives

Qualifications:

I. Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing required
  • Masters degree in Nursing Business Leadership/Management or Healthcare related field preferred

II. Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN in a clinical role required
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience required
  • Prior cancer center or medical clinic group leadership experience preferred

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current RN license in the state of Montana required
  • Leadership courses/continuing education required

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership teambuilding and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with strategic planning and project management
  • Knowledge of oncology care delivery and best practices
  • Financial and budgeting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with healthcare technology and information systems
