Job Description

Overview:

Our client a leading hospitality group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth management of all hotel departments. This role requires a dynamic professional who can drive operational efficiency maintain high guest satisfaction and ensure the seamless delivery of services in line with the hotels brand standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel management and a proven track record of managing teams within a luxury or international hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring smooth coordination between departments (front office housekeeping F&B etc.).
  • Monitor performance standards across all departments and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the recruitment training and performance of staff to meet the hotels service standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize processes improve service delivery and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive financial performance guest engagement and team productivity.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues efficiently providing solutions that ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations health safety and security protocols.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in hotel operations preferably with international or luxury brands.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience in East Africa or similar markets is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and systems.
