Job Description:
The National Bank of Belgium is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join its team working on the Hive Project. This fulltime position involves designing developing and maintaining a digital solution for supervising the financial sector. The solution will be built using .NET (80%) and Angular (20%) integrating both legacy systems and new features into a modular platform. The engineer will collaborate with a crossfunctional team of 15 people ensuring the security performance and efficiency of the software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain software applications using .NET and Angular.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand both functional and technical requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure software optimization.
- Follow architecture security and framework guidelines.
- Lead the delivery of product features from technical design to production rollout.
- Own business requirements and application issues for specific domains.
- Work with a crossfunctional project team to ensure smooth delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 36 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in .NET (80%) and Angular (20%).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with RESTful API design and data modeling.
- Experience with code review tools GIT JIRA and MS SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloudnative or cloud migration projects (Microsoft Azure preferred).
- Experience with functional analysis and presenting to stakeholders.
