Roles and responsibilities

As the Research Team Lead at Nomad Capitalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s knowledge base and vendor relationships within the realms of immigration programs, tax solutions, and banking options. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of these fields by providing the most current and relevant information. This position is not only essential for maintaining our competitive edge but also for fostering new partnerships that will enhance our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

In this leadership role, you will oversee the Research Team, guiding efforts to gather, analyze, and disseminate critical information related to international tax, banking, and immigration. You will also be responsible for developing a robust vendor network, identifying new opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring that our partners align with the company’s mission and standards.

Another crucial aspect of your role will be fact-checking marketing materials prior to publication. This responsibility ensures that all content is accurate, reliable, and reflective of the high standards associated with the Nomad Capitalist brand. Your attention to detail will be instrumental in building trust with our clients and stakeholders.

In summary, the Research Team Lead position at Nomad Capitalist offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team and influence the company's growth in an ever-evolving global landscape. If you are passionate about research, relationship-building, and making a meaningful impact, we invite you to apply.

Desired candidate profile

The role is structured as a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Given the global nature of our work, substantial international travel will be required. This travel is vital for establishing and nurturing vendor relationships, conducting on-the-ground research, and representing Nomad Capitalist at various international events.

Necessary Skills

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a blend of hard and soft skills. A bachelor’s degree in International Relations, politics, law, business, or economics is essential, with a master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in English at a C1 level is required, alongside demonstrated experience in researching international tax, banking, and immigration topics.

Experience in business development and management is also critical, as you will be responsible for leading a team and driving strategic initiatives. Knowledge of international tax regulations and banking practices will be highly advantageous.

On the interpersonal side, excellent communication skills are vital. You should be someone who fosters collaboration and maintains positive relationships with colleagues and partners. Familiarity with Western cultural etiquette and professional dress is also necessary for effective engagement in diverse environments.
