Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator with a minimum of 8 years of experience to manage and maintain IBM DB2 database environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ADF DataBricks Python and PySpark and a strong background in DB2 v10.5 & 11.1 administration replication and performance optimization. Responsibilities include installing upgrading managing databases troubleshooting performance issues setting up replication and improving operational excellence. Candidates must have a proven track record of working in missioncritical environments and experience with Linux Shell scripting and Perl scripting.
Primary Skills:
- ADF DataBricks Python PySpark
- IBM DB2 v10.5 & v11.1 Administration
- DB2 Replication Server Administration
- DB2 Server Installation (Standalone/DPF/HADR)
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Replication Setup (Tablelevel Warm Standby MSA)
Good to have:
- Database Maintenance Tasks (DBCC Reorg)
- Experience with oncall rotation and 24x7 support
