Job Description
Key responsibilities
Observe Country specific authorities rules regulations & guidelines and align with ITC team as
proactive practice
Maintain customs queries and understand and measure PKI India performance on related practices
Participate and lead the hearings from the Authorities
Government rules observation & implementation of Internal Controls related to Import Export and Free Trade Warehousing Zone
Conduct advisory as well as Training from the Trade practices prospective to Team
Product classification per Customs requirement & advise India specific Imports as well as Export tariff situations
Calculate risk and highlight all related to Financial penalty and customs experience
Customs Valuation: Import Pricing is governed by special body and put across audits and periodical queries
New product launch and commercial readiness alignment i.e. Product registration in respective Customs and officials for trading in the country
Act as India Trade Compliance Auditor on current customs practices and monitor effectiveness
Right to ask and demonstrate solution based on the current trading practices
Report out Company compliance related matters to country Leadership and respective Global
teams
Support in obtaining license timely for example SVB update IEC update Customs Bond AEO Certification and related certifications etc.
Embargo and Sanctioned Party List Screening reviews and license determinations
Supplier management pertaining to trade compliance requirements
