Partner Designate

Exclusive to TPF Recruitment this is a fantastic opportunity for a Manager Senior Manager or Partner Designate to join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in Tonbridge. This position offers fantastic internal progression prospects with potential partnership on offer in the near future for the right candidate.

You will either be an experienced Manager or a Senior Manager looking to become a Partner in the next 35 years potentially sooner subject to experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but highly successful firm of chartered accountants in a general practice capacity where you will manage a portfolio of work across a range of accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT with the support of a small team. This opportunity would especially suit somebody who is keen to become a partner in the future. The current Partners are looking for somebody to help drive the business forward. There is a very clear route to future partnership and the firm promotes a really lovely relaxed working environment too.

You will be responsible for a very varied client portfolio across a wide range of industry sectors including sole traders partnerships and limited companies varying in turnovers size and complexity.

As a Partner Designate in Tonbridge you will be responsible for:

• Oversee your own client portfolio.
  
• Provide general OMB client accounts and tax advice and planning.
  
• Review of Ltd company sole trader and partnership accounts.
  
• Review of corporation tax computation calculations.
  
• Reviewing VAT returns.
  
• Preparing and presenting management accounts to clients.
  
• Be involved in the marketing of the practice.
  
• Be involved in the strategic direction of the practice s future.
  
• Oversee and train junior staff members and trainees.
  

Requirements

• You will be ACA/ ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
  
• You will have worked as either a Manager or senior Manager within a practice environment and have handson experience of daily duties.
  
• Experience in client management people management or business development would be advantageous.
