Job Description

Position Opening: Elementary School ESL Teacher

Location: near Burnham Illinois

Description:

Our organization is looking for a passionate ESL Teacher to join our awardwinning team! We are committed to creating opportunities where education professionals can thrive make a meaningful impact and grow both personally and professionally.

As an ESL Teacher with us you will work in a collaborative innovative environment delivering specialized instruction to English Language Learners (ELL) in line with state and school requirements. You ll help foster a positive learning environment while driving results in a fastpaced goaloriented setting.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and implement instructional plans for ELL students.

Create and maintain a safe positive and inclusive learning environment.

Implement behavior management strategies to support effective learning.

Provide individualized and smallgroup instruction to support diverse learners.

Regularly assess and track student progress to modify strategies for continued language development.

Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate English language development across content areas.

Requirements

Must hold a valid Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement.
Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or in a related role.
Experience working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is required; a master s degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus!
