Job Description

Calling All Special Education Teachers to join our team delivering tailored support to students in a resource room setting!

Clarifi Staffing Solutions specializes in connecting passionate educators with rewarding opportunities in schools. The Exceptional Needs Instructor will work with students who have a range of learning emotional physical and developmental disabilities. This role involves creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) collaborating with school staff and families and using effective teaching strategies to promote students academic and social growth.

Position Summary:

Prepare and implement the instructional process for students with IEPs.
Deliver instruction through the use of curriculum materials and educational software.
Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that reflect state and school requirements.
Implement standards for student behavior to ensure a safe secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure clear expectations and consistency.

Requirements

Have an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement proven experience as a special education teacher or in a relevant role. At least a bachelors degree from an accredited university is required prior experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
