Job Description
A hospitality/restaurant company is seeking to hire a fully remote Accountant. This person will report to the CFO and Sr. Accounting Manager. In this seat you will be responsible for accounts payable gift card reconciliations biweekly payroll assisting in month and yearend close GL maintenance and light procurement. The ideal candidate has hospitality/restaurant industry experience and is a team player!
Responsibilities
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes
Utilize financial acumen to analyze financial statements and reports
Perform financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate and detailed financial records
Mentor junior accounting staff on financial concepts and practices
Requirements
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
Hospitality/restaurant experience
