Frontend Engineer

Role:

This is a remote role on a remotefocused team so were looking for candidates who are experienced and comfortable in this style of collaboration. Great written and verbal communication skills are a must in this type of environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated frontend engineer to join our clients dynamic and growing team. As a frontend engineer you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of our web applications. You should have a strong understanding of frontend technologies and be comfortable asking questions to fully understand goals and constraints and then independently make decisions based on this knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web application frontends.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Provide support to internal teams.
• Liaise with developers designers internal stakeholders and customers to identify new features.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4 years of experience as a FullStack Developer or similar role.
• Proven experience as a frontend engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with frontend languages such as HTML CSS JavaScript (ES6 TypeScript).
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React Angular or Vue.js.
• Ability to proactively identify and solve engineering problems.
• Experience using Git to manage changes is a plus.
