The primary responsibility of a telemetry nurse is to monitor the heart rate and rhythm of patients who require close supervision in a hospital setting. Some key telemetry nurse job duties include: Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance.
Requirement description :

• 2 years of experience Required
• TELE CARDIAC Experience Required
• Recent traveler experience highly preferred

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
• Licensure & Certifications (MI State License/Lara & BLS ACLS AHA)
• Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates 50 mile radius restriction for ONLY 113week contract)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every Other Weekend/Holiday
On Call Requirements : As Needed
