Role Overview: The HR Industrial Relationship officer is responsible for managing various aspects of industrial relations including labor conflict resolution attendance management labor laws regulations and compliance. Additionally this role involves organizing training programs for laborers and overseeing their welfare initiatives & wellbeing of employees within the MRF. This position involves reporting to both the Plant Manager and HR Manager in HO to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues addressing grievances disputes and other concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Monitor and track employee attendance address attendance issues and ensure compliance with attendance policies.
- Oversee the payroll processing system specific to the MRF ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes to labor laws tax regulations and payroll best practices relevant to the MRF.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills knowledge and productivity of employees working in the MRF.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of noncompliance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures within the MRF ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Proactively updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on industrial relations and compliance activities for regulatory agencies as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Industrial Relations Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HR management with a focus on industrial relations and compliance preferably in a manufacturing or plant operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws regulations and industry standards related to employment practices and workplace safety.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
