Job Summary
The HR MIS Specialist is responsible for managing and analyzing HR data to support decisionmaking and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves maintaining HR databases generating accurate reports and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR systems data analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
HR Data Management
- Maintain and update HR databases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
MIS Reporting
- Generate and distribute regular and ad hoc HR reports
- Develop dashboards for realtime monitoring.
- Provide datadriven insights to assist in strategic HR planning.
Data Analytics and Insights
- Analyze HR data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
- Present insights to HR leadership and recommend actionable solutions.
Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend automation opportunities.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR data management and reporting.
- Ensure alignment of HR MIS practices with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree
- Experience:
- 2 5 years of experience in HR systems MIS or a related role.
- Handson experience with HRIS platforms (Power BI MS Excel (PythonSQL highly appreciated).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential data.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is a plus.
