DS Technologies Inc is looking for Snowflake Administrator role for one of our premier clients.
Overview:
The Client Technology division is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Administrator responsible for managing configuring and maintaining the Snowflake data warehouse environment. The role focuses on performance tuning user management data integration and ensuring data security.
Position:
Snowflake Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Manage Snowflake environments: setup configuration monitoring and optimization
- Performance tuning and query optimization
- User access and permissions management
- Support data integration processes: data loading transformation extraction
- Backup and recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflakerelated issues
- Maintain system documentation and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts
- Stay current on Snowflake best practices and security patches
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Data Science or a related field
- 3 years of experience managing Snowflake environments
- Strong SQL skills and Snowflakespecific query optimization knowledge
- Experience with ETL tools data integration and AWS cloud environments
- Knowledge of Snowflake security features and database design
- Proficiency in PowerShell Python and Power BI
- Experience integrating Snowflake with identity and access management systems is a plus
- Snowflake certifications (preferred)
