Senior Graphic Designer

Resourcery is a professional service provider based in Cape Town providing a wide range of services to clients all around the world including finance marketing analytics operations legal and others.

For this particular role our client is an investment company with a wide range of businesses in Hospitality and Food & Beverage. The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager your duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Manage graphic design projects (mostly digital) from conception to delivery across various output formats
  

• Apply a 8020 principle that ensures quality of output while meeting deadlines
  

• Ensure brand consistency throughout various design projects
  

• Review the output of other designers to ensure consistently high quality
  

• Work with visual design incl. typography grids layouts colours iconography etc.
  

• Work with interaction design incl. sketching illustrations numbers diagrams etc.
  

• Having experience with multimedia design incl. videography sound design editing postproduction animations etc. is a big plus
  

• Having an understanding of responsive grids and the implementation of your designs (e.g. through HTML and CSS) is a big plus
  

• Having an interest in and understanding of the business side (e.g. understanding what numbers mean and if they make sense) is a big plus.

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate you must have the following:

• A graphic design qualification
  

• Minimum 710 years of relevant work experience as graphic designer
  

• Expertise in the most common stateof theart graphic design tools incl. Figma and Adobe Suite
  

• Can execute ideas quickly and have no issues to plan your time around deadlines
  

• Work autonomously manage yourself and are proactive and selfmotivated
  

• Excellent organisation skills and are comfortable working collaboratively
  

• Proficient in English fluently and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Have a holistic perspective of design and the purpose it serves in our business
  

• Having prior experience in or a strong affinity for Hospitality and Food & Beverage is a plus.
